چکیده
The male urethral fistula is the common and difficult complication of the surgical treatments of urethral stricture, hypospadias and prostate disease. Surgical reconstruction remains the mainstay in the management. Sometime the surgical therapy of the male urethral fistula is still a challenge. The key point of the treatment of anterior urethral fistula is using Dartos Fascia flap to overlapping it in one-two layer fashion. For posterior urethra, rectourethral fistula is great challenge. But unfortunately, the rectourethral fistula is becoming increasingly common with earlier diagnosis of prostate cancer, which is amenable to treatment with radical prostatectomy. Surgical approaches for definitive repair include the perineal, transanal, and combined abdominoperineal approaches. Perineal approach is good for rectourethral fistula with posterior urethral stricture. Transanal approach, the York-Mason approach, is good choice for small rectourethral fistula without posterior urethral stricture. We also use a new approach with combine perineal approach with transanal approach for some big rectourethral fistula without posterior urethral stricture. Among the numerous methods for closure of rectourinary fistulae, no single procedure has been proved most efficacious. However, it has become clear that a more

Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy guided by ultrasonography to treat upper urinary tract calculi complicated with severe spinal deformity
OBJECTIVE To report our experience of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) in managing upper urinary tract calculi complicated with severe spinal deformity. MATERIALS AND METHODS Between August 2001 to December 2012, 16 upper urinary calculi in 13 patients with severe spinal deformity were treated by MPCNL. Preoperative investigation of the respiratory function, evaluation o...

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES Presently, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a well-established and effective method of treating upper urinary tract stones at our institution. The aim of this paper was to evaluate a single surgeon's four-year experience of PCNL in the Singapore General Hospital. MATERIALS AND METHODS Between January 1996 and December 2000, 300 PCNLs were performed on 280 ren...
متن کاملPercutaneous Renal Access: A Historical Perspective
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) has evolved to become the preferred minimally invasive approach for treating large-burden renal stones. This approach has replaced open renal surgery for stones. It has also evolved into a treatment option for treating noninvasive urothelial tumors of the upper urinary tract. Current percutaneous access techniques involve fluoroscopic or ultrasound guidance w...
متن کاملCurrent status of minimally invasive management of pediatric upper urinary tract calculi
The surgical management of pediatric upper urinary tract calculi has evolved from open surgery to minimally invasive techniques. With advancement in instrumentation, endourological procedures are being performed more commonly in children. However, the endourological management of renal and ureteral stones in the pediatric population is considered challenging, owing to the smaller size of the ur...
متن کاملMinimally Invasive Management of Biliary Tract Injury Following Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy
INTRODUCTION Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is generally considered a safe option for the management of large complex or infectious upper urinary tract calculi. Biliary tract injury is a rare and potentially serious complication of percutaneous nephrolithotomy that can even lead to mortality, especially in cases where biliary peritonitis develops. All reported cases of biliary tract injury have b...
